The Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) Group Home Service is a program designed to provide individuals with developmental disabilities a supportive and community-based living arrangement.
This service aims to offer a safe, nurturing, and inclusive home where individuals can live and thrive while receiving 24-7 daily care and assistance from a team of qualified staff. The service is tailored to the unique needs of each resident. Support plans are developed in collaboration with the individuals, their families, healthcare professionals and other relevant parties to ensure that the care provided is person-centered. Residents are encouraged and supported to engage in social, recreational, and vocational activities within their local community to enhance their quality of life and foster meaningful connections.
The overall goal of the CLBC Group Home Service is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by providing a supportive and comprehensive living environment that promotes independence, social connections, and personal growth.
